SIWAREX weighing systems

Nowadays, in areas of automation and process technology that involve measurement of forces or weights, state-of-the-art weighing systems are used to monitor and control a wide variety of production processes. Their use extends from simple applications (e.g. the monitoring of belt tension or filling level measurement of containers and bins) to complex proportioning tasks (e.g. making of mixtures based on specified recipes).

Weighing systems are particularly suitable for measuring tasks requiring high accuracy or official calibration and for applications for which other measuring techniques are unsuitable (e.g. filling level measurement of foam-forming substances, measurement of aggressive substances that may cause sensor damage or measurements subject to hygiene restrictions). These weighing systems are to be found in the production of food and animal feed, in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and in general mechanical engineering.
